Fury is a fiery sorrel who changes the lives
of
three brothers forever. The oldest brother has
lost
his family; the youngest is an outlaw; and
the
strongest is blinded by the sorrel and fights
the
emptiness it brings. Together they must take a herd
to Kansas or lose everything to Winlow. If only they don’t
kill each other first. A presumed-dead brother, Cole Kerry,
returns to his older brother's ranch to find him blinded by an
untamed sorrel horse and desperate to drive a herd of cattle to
Kansas to save his ranch. Ethan Kerry had built his ranch with
hard work, fierce courage and constant attention to detail. His
older brother, slow-minded, but colorful talking, Luther Kerry,
lives with Ethan and his family. The youngest, Cole Kerry, left
after the War, angered by Ethan's decision to ranch, instead of
continuing the lost fight. But Cole offers to lead the cattle
drive if Ethan will go along because all the details are in his
head. They team together to accomplish the difficult feat,
overcoming the personal frustration of blindness, the natural
problems of the trail and an evil rancher trying to take the
ranch. A terrible prairie fire changes everything in a dramatic
climax.
